I am available for any time during the weekend.
Who is even going to be in town?
Do we default to board games? I guess the first thing is to find out who will be around at all. For those people, when are you available?
Monday is fine for gaming too since that's an official holiday. I should get myself an electric menorah because I'm in the mood to play along and light the appropriate candles.

I r teh gone.
I'm back, and according to recent email announcements the next two weekends are both four-day weekends. So any time Friday, Saturday, or Monday should be fine, and Sunday is negotiable (I'm guessing Les will want me to stay home then).
I'll be here. Sunday we'll be going to G&P's for dinner, but the rest of the time should be fine. I should go and look up official holiday days at Tech...
Oh, and Jonathan and Frances will be down after Christmas, and probably up for board games.
If we can get transport for OneMike, he'd probably be game to play the WoW board game. I'll send him an email.
I'm going to try and recover some here, things aren't going so well at the moment. Hopefully, it'll iron out for next year.
update: I'm extremely sick at the moment. If I'm correct in thinking I got the illness from my little brother, there's a 1-2 day contagious latency period after symptoms subside, so at present it looks like Monday would be the only time I'd be safely available for games this weekend. And that only if I get better tomorrow...
FYI, Stormwrack rocks, very good stuff. :-)
You presumably have what I've been suffering through for a while now. I got sick 3 weeks ago and am still not completely better, although I passed the contagious stage a long time ago.
We can plan for something on Monday. Maybe Tim will even be back in town if we do something Monday evening? (I forgot exactly when he returns.)
My thoughts were to have something at my crib and maybe see if some of my friends from Beverly Hills might drive up and join us. Maybe some other Techers are around? Some of them have parents relatively nearby, so I could see if they want to come.
"You come to my crib. I show you my hood."
I'll be back (most likely) around noon tomorrow (Tuesday). I might leave for Pasadena tonight if things get too boring.
I will probably be working Friday and Monday around the New Year's weekend (no four-day for me!).
Did we have plans yet for the weekend of the 7th-8th? I might have some family in town that weekend. They'll be mostly busy, I expect.
Let's hope you don't have what Mason had. I think he should have been clinically dead a few of the times I saw him around lunchtime. Well, more specifically, clinically undead.
Damn worchestershire sauce.
I absolutely loved the fact that Mike told me how horrible I looked after our IM conversation from earlier in the day in which I was bragging about how much better I felt than the day before. While I admittedly still felt like crap, I feel like I did zombify the day before. (That's the only explanation for how I got to campus. The condensed matter physics secretary drove me home during her work hours because there was no way I was going to be able to walk home and it was necessary that I get home. This was well above and beyond the call of duty.)
I'll start the next weekend's stuff in a new entry for the weekend of 1/7--1/8 later. My flight back from Bethesda is on 1/7, so I am game on 1/8. That's the only day I'll be available that weekend.
For New Year's weekend, I will be attending a friend's party in Beverly Hills on 12/31 but I will be back on 1/1. We could do stuff on 1/2 in the evening (or on 1/1, for that matter). My flight to Bethesda is on 1/3.
I'll do a separate blog entry for New Year's in a couple minutes.
In terms of clinically undead, keep in mind that you didn't see me on the one day that was really bad. (That was the first day I was bedridden in O(10) years.)
