Also, there are strange variations of "catch-and-carry" rules depending on the park.GFreakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08555226444666997624noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17607237.post-35329808107217748842009-07-09T07:06:34.762-07:002009-07-09T07:06:34.762-07:00The ground rule double one I messed up, though the...The ground rule double one I messed up, though the site really ought to have used the correct name of "automatic double" because ground rules are ballpark-specific.Masonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04415369043595429843noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-17607237.post-10236958972929144592009-07-09T06:06:11.638-07:002009-07-09T06:06:11.638-07:00Pretty good quiz, although I agree with you (and t...Pretty good quiz, although I agree with you (and the commentary, obviously designed to sell the umpiring book) that several of those situations require more information or some interpretation.<br />I did learn a couple of interesting tidbits though, such as in the supplementary info on the first-baseman-trap-double-play question. (I got the question right for the situation described, but if the situation had been the second one mentioned I would have gotten it wrong). Also the fair-or-foul, HR-or-GR2B was informative.GFreakhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08555226444666997624noreply@blogger.com
