My name is Mason Porter. I am a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at UCLA. Previously I was Professor of Nonlinear and Complex Systems in the Mathematical Institute at University of Oxford. I was also a Tutorial Fellow of Somerville College.
The link didn't work for me. What strip is it? I have thought about commenting on your blog before but was kind of shy about it... I enjoy reading your posts, both the math-related ones and the more frivolous ones like the recent t-shirt record post. Hey, if you want to try to beat his record and use only math t-shirts, I have a bunch I could donate to the cause!!

I don't think I want to wear 100 pounds of t-shirts... It's not as bad as 30,000 pounds of bananas, but it still doesn't seem pleasant. I think I'll instead go for the record of "extending adolesence beyond all previous limits."
