My name is Mason Porter. I am a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at UCLA. Previously I was Professor of Nonlinear and Complex Systems in the Mathematical Institute at University of Oxford. I was also a Tutorial Fellow of Somerville College.
But the Hamming distance between what I wrote and what he'll be paid is rather small! (I guess I should write "Hamming-like" if I have more than 2 possible values for each entry?)
Also, you're correct that my error was an incorrect reading rather than a typographical error. I fully intended to type "million" when I wrote this entry.
Finally, excellent use of the nickname "A-Roid"! I have also started doing that...
