A New Rejection Record!

Fastest. Rejection. Ever. (I wonder if this is a new world record?)

Today, Nature Communications desk-rejected our paper 2 hours and 1 minute after we submitted it.

OUCH!

  4. I can see it now: "The science behind breaking the world record for scientific paper rejection", a discussion of the necessary components to build a microsecond filtering system on the publisher side to perform extremely fast scanning and filtering of incoming article submissions.
