My name is Mason Porter. I am a Professor in Nordita (Nordic Institute for Theoretical Physics) and am Professor in Complex Systems in the Department of Mathematics at Stockholm University. Previously, I was a Professor in the Department of Mathematics at UCLA. Before that, I was Professor of Nonlinear and Complex Systems in the Mathematical Institute at University of Oxford. I was also a Tutorial Fellow of Somerville College. I am still a Senior Research Fellow of Somerville College.

Dodgers Clinch National League West!
With today's victory over the Giants (it was a particularly dominating performance by Clayton Kershaw), the Dodgers have clinched the National League West!!
We've now won the division three years in a row, and surprisingly this is the first time in franchise history that we've ever made the postseason three years in a row. (Hopefully, we'll do a bit better in the postseason this year than we have during the past couple of decades.)
