A victory for rational thought

I just saw the news that the judge in Pennsylvania rejected the teaching of Intelligent Design, because (as stated in the article) it is a religious viewpoint that advances "a particular version of Christianity." Reaction: Amen! :)

This was the first legal case (of likely many) to test the merits of ID, so I am quite pleased with the result. And Judge John E. Jones III's ruling was a sweeping victory and not just a narrow one. He's my new hero among Republicans.
