Slip of the Tongue

On Mother's Day, Major League Baseball has for several years arranged it so that many players use pink bats as part of the whole "Breast Cancer Awareness Day" part of the deal. Unfortunately, one of the Giants' announcers accidently called it "Breast Awareness Day". Oops.

Ha!
Watching this game on mlb.com right now -- serendipitously right as they first mention the pink bats! Awesome.

Exactly. :)

I watched big portions of the game yesterday---well, I paid complete attention when Lincecum was pitching and occasionally did some work during other times.

That's almost exactly my m.o. lately. Put G's game on, write/read/etc while the Giants (unimpressively) bat, then drop my jaw during the defensive half of the inning and watch Timmy deal the dirt.

I of course have minor timezone problems. I was going to watch the Dodger game only on Sunday, but then I saw that Lincecum was pitching and decided that I was going to be slightly less productive than original planned...
