What happens in Cambridge stays in Cambridge (UK edition)

I am up obscenely early (pain!) for a flight to Boston, followed by a 3.5 hour layover at Logan, a flight to London-Heathrow, and a roughly 3-hour bus ride to Cambridge, where I'll be staying in Wolfson Court for a pattern formation conference. This is my first trip to jolly old (bloody) England and, in fact, to any part of Europe.

Awesome. Cambridge is a very cool place. If you have some sightseeing time it's fun just to walk around the university and check out all the old colleges.

I walked through St. John's College to go get food on a couple occasions and then I walked around a bit this morning near Bridges Street just to see what else was there, but I haven't done much else yet in that respect.

I do have a couple things I plan to blog, but this is my first internet access in a couple days and sleeping was priority one.

I've made up for a couple mistakes now---like forgetting to bring my world traveler kit of adaptors. I still won't have internet access at night unless I pay for the privelege, but at least I won't have a full week's worth of stuff waiting for me.
